UNS N06075is a high-performance nickel-based alloy consisting mainly of nickel (up to 75%), chromium (14-16%), iron (3-5%), and molybdenum (2-3%). It further includes minor quantities of aluminum (0.6-0.9%) and titanium (0.8-1.2%) to improve its mechanical characteristics. This alloy demonstrates outstanding mechanical strength, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance under high temperatures, featuring a tensile strength of roughly 850-1000 MPa and a yield strength of 450-700 MPa. Nimonic 75 retains its structural integrity even at raised temperatures reaching about 900°C, which makes it well-suited for uses like turbine blades and combustion chamber parts in the aerospace sector.
